Postpartum, Bed-sharing and The Well Mama with Mother + Postpartum Nutrition Consultant Rose Videler.
Update: 2024-09-11
Description
In this week's episode, I sit down with Rose Videler from The Well Mama.
After experiencing a challenging postpartum with her first baby and feeling ill-equipped to care for herself, Rose became hell-bent on finding the root cause of her struggles so she could begin to heal physically and emotionally. After confiding in other mothers Rose realised she wasn’t alone in her struggles and that they were also facing similar challenges. Rose refuses to accept that 1: how we felt was normal and 2: There wasn’t much we could do about it. Rose permanently resigned from her role as a theatre nurse and dove head first into studying with Oh Baby School of Holistic Nutrition to become a Postpartum Nutrition Consultant to understand how to prevent and manage postpartum conditions. Rose now works with expectant mothers to help them consciously plan & prepare for postpartum with their well-being at the forefront inside her online course The Well Mama where she blends her knowledge as a mother, nurse, and Postpartum Nutrition Consultant to deliver holistic and evidence-based information/resources to support mothers to be and stay well after birth.
