We end the conversation with talking about Buy Now Pay later and how there are two main differences in BNPL funding. * Lenders that will help enable you to let your customers pay installments on the goods they are purchasing. * Lenders like Playter that will allow you to never pay a bill upfront again and decide your own payment terms.Listen to the conversation in full as their are some juicy tidbits about BNPL and how our life stories always intertwine into what “we do”. Join us mid-conversation as we jump into talking about our childhood selves and the glimpses of the vision that they hold of us in the future. Tony then takes us on the journey of how the music became what it is now and how that meant falling out of love with the funding business to then fall back in love with what we are creating here with Risecap. Two years ago he began experiencing burnout from his own creation and some of the feelings he was having included * doing deals and feeling nothing * going through the motions * waking up and feeling drained before even starting his day. * energy not coming back to him for what he was putting in. This allowed him to go back to the vision and musical inclination that had always been following him and go head first into it. Music and finance were interconnected with each other breathing life into each other.Ultimately burnout led to purpose and the question became what else can I become a student of to grow beyond anything I thought possible?Listen to the full episode and conversation and let us know how you are practicing wellness for yourself. On this episode we share the old paradigms of performance reviews and what feedback use to feel like and how refreshing it is to have a review where it is honest and honoring. Later in the episode, we talk about the giddiness of improving our website which now includes business credit reports and loan calculators, but really the excitement is creating an extension of ourselves in the way we would want to see a brokerage firm being run if we were the clients. We end with talking about our most recent newsletter which highlighted our societal glamorization of consumption and vanity metrics but the truth is the funding game is changing and unless your funding is productive — you have nothing. We had some technical difficulties on this episode with the recording kicking us out a couple of times, so we had to edit the conversation more than we liked but we still get there in the end.On this episode we talked about how there is normally one school of thought when we talk about finance— analytic thinking, technical knowledge, and return on investment. But we believe there is also another school of thought when it comes to finance and that is Empathy. Tony and I share why empathy is so important to our personal and business lives. In the process of the conversation Tony brings up an amazing example of a client of ours that recently was looking for funding in alignment with his religious beliefs and how we were able to provide a solution through one of our Lending Partners Playter that catered specifically to his desires. The episodes concludes with us finding Risecap’s legacy slogan when Tony has the epiphany “Human- Led , Tech- Driven”.I hope you enjoy the episode and will share, like and give us a review if it feels connected. Keep rising Tony & Alex  This is a public episode.
