Welcome to this week's episode of SMP Insights. Andrew Brandt grew up in Washington, DC and played tennis at Stanford University before going on to law school at Georgetown. He started his career as an unpaid intern at a firm that represented tennis players, but eventually transitioned into football and grew a team of clients from three to 15 over the course of six years. He then made the switch to the management side of the industry, taking on the role of running the Barcelona Dragons in the NFL's World League. From there, he went on to work with the Minnesota Vikings and eventually became the VP of the NFL team Green Bay Packers. Today he works as an academic director, hosting a podcast, writing a weekly newsletter and is often seen on ESPN giving insight to sports law matters.
