Have you ever wondered why every Abrahamic religion treats menstruating women as dirty and spiritually contaminated? That’s because religion took creation – something that’s uniquely feminine – and attributed it to a male god. And because it couldn’t erase the physical evidence of female creation, it warped it into something shameful and impure. In this episode, I roll up my sleeves and answer the questions many of us are afraid to ask. I’ll discuss:How religion began 250,000 years ago as a shamanistic practice with female leadersThe catalyst that made religion devolve into a patriarchal institutionThe neuroscience research showing how religion shuts down parts of our brainHow religion & girlhood socialization contain complementary grooming mechanismsThe missing piece explaining the paradox that women tend to be more religious than menWhether Abrahamic religions can ever serve women& the spiritual tool that women need ✨ God isn’t a woman. Society tells us the major “accomplishments” in a woman’s life are getting married and having kids. Both of which are actions that bring people into her life. Unfortunately, most of what’s celebrated in women is about distracting us from our power and finding ourselves in other people. On top of that, there’s so much fear instilled in us: “Who’s going to take care of you when you’re old?” “Your biological clock is ticking!” “Who’s going to protect you?” “You’re happy now but what about when you’re 50 and alone?”There’s only ONE thing guaranteed in your life: your relationship with yourself. So why is it that so many women are terrified of being alone? In this episode we discuss:How patriarchy uses tools like urgency and fear to spook us into dependence and distractionThe difference between being single and being sovereignWhy fearing being alone is a way of living on borrowed time4 ways to deprogram our fear of being alone✨Hope you love it and can use this law to make your dreams come true. Fun fact: Feminism is a response to patriarchy.Baddies welcome to my new weekly mini-series, Sunday School, where I share a small lesson from my new book, How to Hack the Patriarchy. This one's from the introduction.Class is in session, and today we're discussing feminism's branding problem. Over the last few years, feminism's reputation has become severely damaged. If you say you're a feminist, get ready to be labelled an angry, man-hating, snowflake. What was once a widely accepted (and vital) social movement has now been reduced to a joke among men and an embarrassment among women. Why did this shift happen? And what can we do to shift this perception and get the show back on the road? Tune into this class to find out.📚 Ready to hack the patriarchy? Get your physical or Kindle copy on Amazon, or purchase the EPUB file here (for Kobo, NOOK, and other e-readers).*Deep breath*Every time you tell yourself you're "hoping for the best" or you're "gonna see what happens," you're doing what the patriarchy wants you to do. You're relinquishing control and leaving your fate to what's out there. And let me remind you what's out there: sexism, racism, colourism, homophobia, and many other -isms and -phobias. So by leaving things to chance, you're exposing your future to the worst forces the world has to offer. In this episode, I go into detail on why it's so harmful to leave things to chance, and I'll discuss what we can do to counteract this and reclaim control over our lives & futures.__________🎙️ About the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. I'm sure you want people to do more for you, especially your partner. Maybe even your coworkers. Unfortunately, because most women are conditioned to perform constant emotional labour, there's a specific behaviour you need to stop if you want people to step up in your life.In this episode, we'll get into the mindsets that are making your life more difficult and causing you to self-sabotage. We'll also discuss the one behaviour shift that will make your life so much easier.BTW make sure to stay up-to-date on my giveaway announcement and book launch by following my Instagram 📚 My book "How to Hack the Patriarchy" will be released November 25 on Amazon.__________🎙️ About the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. Your tendency to be realistic is robbing you of the future you deserve. From girlhood, most of us have been discouraged from being "too" ambitious because it violates the traditional trajectory of a woman's life: go to school, get a job, get married, become a mother, retire, die. Rinse & repeat in the next life.Babes, true delusion is accepting a life someone else decided was “right” for you.You know how many people told me I'm delusional, unrealistic, and crazy for wanting to quit my corporate job to start a podcast? Plenty. If I'd listened to them, you wouldn't be about to press play to listen to me.Deviating from the status quo will get you backlash and side eye, but that doesn't mean you're doing anything wrong. In fact, it's a sign you're on the right path. No one is more upset than a goof who sees a woman living life on her own terms.__________🎙️ About the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. Spoiled girls get whatever they want, while low maintenance girls get what they're given. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being spoiled — a spoiled woman is simply someone with a high sense of worth, who knows what she wants, and never settles for less.Acting spoiled is a huge patriarchy hack we tend to overlook, because we're brainwashed to think it's bad to be spoiled. However, this buttcrack morality exists to cover one of the patriarchy's most useful loopholes for women.About the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. Patriarchy’s biggest fear: women’s choice. In episode 5 of my 5-part series on patriarchy and capitalism’s toxic partnership, we uncover why choice is the real revolution—the one thing power can’t monetize. From work to marriage to money, control only works when women stop choosing. Because at the end of the day, it’s all a fight over the world’s most valuable resource: women. These systems exist to distract us from that simple fact. This finale connects every thread we've pulled in the last four episodes to show how real freedom begins when women realize their power and wake up from the trance of consumerism. We don't need to spend money or perform labour to prove our worth. We're already worthy. If you’ve followed this series from the start, this is the closing argument: if patriarchy is the cell, women’s choice is the radiation that kills it.Tags: women’s choice, patriarchy explained, feminism, capitalism, gender roles, women and power, feminist podcast, empowerment, modern feminism, gender inequalityAbout the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. Freedom looks different when you have to buy it.In episode 4 of my 5-part series on patriarchy and capitalism’s toxic partnership, we uncover how capitalism rebranded servitude as female empowerment. From the post-Reagan era to the rise of influencer feminism, the system sold women “freedom” that still serves profit. While men have to make money to prove their worth, women are taught to spend money to prove theirs. Neoliberalism turned independence into consumer identity. Beauty, success, self-care, empowerment—everything became a product. This episode breaks down how capitalism replaced control with desire—how “choice” became the slogan of a system that profits when women are taught to hate themselves and compete with each other.Tags: capitalism, feminism, patriarchy explained, consumerism, feminist podcast, modern feminism, gender roles, women and power, feminist theory, women empowermentAbout the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. Patriarchy wasn’t built to serve women — but it was never built to serve most men either. In this third episode of my 5-part series on patriarchy and capitalism's toxic relationship, we break down how patriarchy accidentally made men obsolete. When capitalism tied masculinity to money and productivity, men became workers before all else. That’s how they received their patriarchal dividends. When second wave feminism enabled women to gain financial independence, men lost their monopoly on survival.Stay until the end for the cliffhanger on how capitalism rebranded servitude as empowerment. Keywords: patriarchy explained, masculinity, feminism, capitalism, gender roles, modern masculinity, feminist podcast, gender inequality, men and powerAbout the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. The nuclear family wasn’t built for love – it was built for labour. In the second episode of my 5-part series on patriarchy and capitalism’s toxic partnership, we break down how the nuclear family became an economic machine that keeps both systems alive. From the rise of private property to the post-war suburban ideal, this episode exposes how family structure was engineered to reproduce patriarchy generation after generation. If you’ve ever questioned why “traditional family values” always seem to benefit men and corporations, this episode explains the architecture behind it.Stay until the end for a cliffhanger on how women’s financial independence disrupted men’s role – by accident 😉Keywords: nuclear family, patriarchy explained, capitalism, feminism, gender roles, unpaid labor, domestic work, women and work, feminist podcast, feminist theory, family and capitalism, women’s historyAbout the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. Patriarchy wasn’t born – it was built. In the first episode of my 5-part series on patriarchy and capitalism’s toxic partnership, we break down how power, property, and control over women’s labor built the world’s oldest system of domination – one that still shapes our lives today. This is the blueprint of male power, the origin story patriarchy doesn’t want you to know.If you’ve ever wondered where patriarchy came from or how it keeps itself alive, this episode is for you. Niceness is a scam. Being "nice" describes someone who is polite and pleasant to be around, focusing on surface-level interactions and social harmony. It's a performance. It's how the patriarchy grooms us for exploitation and disrespect, because the nice girl is taught to that being liked is more important than being respected.Being mean is the opposite of that -- it's prioritizing being respected more than being liked. (& I don't mean acting like Regina George.)In this episode, we discuss:What it means to be meanWhy being mean is a form of self-protection & self-preservationThe 2 main reasons why people will use guilt, shame, and punishment to force you into being niceAn example of one of my fave historical baddies who was successfully mean✨Hope you love it and can use this law to make your dreams come true. You're not a Pokemon or some kind of collectible, but the wrong type of people will see you as a commodity, something to collect. In this episode, we discuss why the term "high value woman" is not only icky, but counterproductive. Like most things in this world, we can't do what men do and expect the same result. This also goes for labels men use to try and prove their worth.About the podcast: Patriarchal power runs like software. Once you understand its code and where its bugs are, you can easily hack it. We've been bamboozled into thinking that the more we're present and the more we prove ourselves, the more people will respect us. This is a load of crap. The truth is that the more people see you, the less they notice you. They'll take you for granted and respect you less. In this episode, we'll discuss:The most valuable form of giving (that you're probably doing too much of)Why we've been conditioned to think that more presence = more respect How strategic absence relates to supply & demand, and how you can use this to your advantageHow to use absence, fantasy, and mystery to increase respect✨Hope you love it and can use this law to make your dreams come true. Being a woman is a gift, it's the highest form of being. Everything exists because of a woman, and we should celebrate and love ourselves unconditionally.Lately, there’s been a wave of online “divine femininity” content that looks empowering at first… but it’s really patriarchy dressed up as spirituality. It tells women that to be “in our feminine” we need to sit back, receive, and let men lead, provide, and decide. In this episode, I discuss:Why “divine femininity” online is just old gender stereotypes repackagedHow it twists real spiritual and philosophical traditionsThe difference between actual empowerment and limiting labels like “feminine” vs. “masculine”If you’ve ever scrolled past those videos about “being in your feminine” and felt something was off, this episode is for you.🌸 IG: @baddestbinthebldg💓 TikTok: @baddest.b.in.the.bldg💘 Collabs/partnerships: neeki@biggestbaddie.com🔐 Unlock bonus episodes & join our private community on Patreon💌 Subscribe to The Baddie Brief, a 1-minute read to give you a little reminder of a hack from one of the girly laws (that you prob forgot), delivered twice monthly on Fridays💄 Want a discount on clean makeup from an Indigenous-owned brand? "People never do something just once" - Robert GreeneThere's no such thing as an isolated incident, because people's actions are always part of a pattern of behaviour. However, the patriarchy made us believe the complete opposite, because accepting excuses keeps power where it is. The patriarchy is based on repetition: people repeat the same behaviours, institutions repeat the same patterns, cultures repeat the same stories. The thing is, excuses are data, they reveal so much info!!! They're breadcrumbs people leave behind because they're not careful in covering their tracks...In this episode, we'll discuss:The reason why no one does something just onceA TEXTBOOK example of this (Chr*s Brown)How accepting excuses creates a false realityHow this ties into people pleasing & other ways women have been conditionedCommon excuses used in relationships + the workplace, and the data you can gather from them✨Hope you love it and can use this law to make your dreams come true. People pleasing is rooted in superstitions like "If I give everything, then I'll finally be enough" and "If someone likes me, then I'll finally like myself." This way of thinking puts us in mental poverty, which keeps us trapped in survival mode. It's perfect for people who want to exploit our lack of boundaries, and it's harmful for us in every way.🌸 IG: @baddestbinthebldg💓 TikTok: @baddest.b.in.the.bldg💘 Collabs/partnerships: neeki@biggestbaddie.com🔐 Unlock bonus episodes & join our private community on Patreon💌 Subscribe to The Baddie Brief, a 1-minute read to give you a little reminder of a hack from one of the girly laws (that you prob forgot), delivered twice monthly on Fridays💄 Want a discount on clean makeup from an Indigenous-owned brand?
