In this episode, Samanta Katz, a professional photographer, and videographer who has traveled to 52 countries joins me to talk about how she combines art, travel, and business. With a camera in one hand and a passport in the other, Samanta has been traveling the world and working as a photographer since 2009. How has she managed to wear so many hats? From being an artist and creator to running a successful business all at the same time. Somehow this conversation evolved into topics such as white privilege, covid19, dealing with family and friends while building a business, and living the travel lifestyle. If you're a creative who's wanting to turn your passion into profit and you want to be motivated to get started on your own, this episode is for you!
Aurimas Juodka aka. AJ is a health and human performance expert who empowers busy people to take charge of their health, so they can feel and perform at their best. Have traditional ideas about medicine, lifestyle, exercise, and nutrition let you down? With his endless curiosity for longevity, nutrition, and exercise research, and fueled with passion assists and educates individuals in fulfilling any fitness and wellness goal. In this episode, we talk about taking charge of our health. If we start feeling sick, we don’t hesitate to immediately go see a doctor. Without hesitation, we take prescription drugs that only cater to the symptoms temporarily and can’t guarantee we won’t get sick again in the near future. AJ believes that we can prevent such diseases when we decide to take full responsibility for our health, by incorporating daily movement and whole foods into our lifestyle. With the proper mindset work, the right amount of exercise, and enough downtime, anyone can lead a long and satisfying life. Our health shouldn’t just be prioritized because we want to look good on the beach. Taking care of ourselves directly translates into the quality of the moments we share with our families or loved ones.
On today’s episode, I’m joined by my friend Ivanna Fontana who’s a celebrity stylist and personal shopper on a mission to empower women to feel confident in their own bodies. Ivanna and I weren’t immediate friends and so in this conversation, we vulnerably share how some women trigger us and what female friendships mean to us. Why do women view each other as competition instead of support and how can we shift into sisterhood? For most of us, the comparison game has become second nature. We scroll through our Instagram feeds comparing our lives, bodies, relationships, and businesses to the perfectly curated images we come across. Ivanna talks about her own journey as a recovering perfectionist and her love-hate relationship with the fashion industry. When you realize that the things we try to hide from others are the things that can truly connect us to each other, maybe it’s time to take of the masks and be unapologetically imperfect.
In this episode, I’m joined by Aaron Darko. Aaron is a Health Transformational Coach who focuses strongly on mindset. His mission isn’t solely to correct your nutrition and get you to work out, but to change people’s mindset and relationship with food. He helps clients from all over the world implement the habits they need to succeed in life, business, and relationships. Most of us don’t realize that we hold onto limiting beliefs or negative ideas around health and well being. Throughout this interview, Aaron gives us an insight into his effective approach towards training, the tactics we can all use to stay consistently motivated and working towards our goals. He also shares some of the principles he follows that have allowed him to grow a successful online business that revolves completely around his lifestyle and interests. But above all, I invited Aaron on the podcast to talk about how we are raised to believe that men have to be strong in relationships and women should be sweet and saveable. A conversation we started in October 2019, plays out during this interview so many months later. How do we deconstruct those belief systems that hold us back from living into our full potential? How do we connect with our partners and allow energy to flow? Enjoy!
Creating a perfect business partnership takes understanding, effort, trust, and above all, a sincere desire to make it work. I’m proud to say that I partnered up with Taylor Peart whom I’ve been working with for more than 5 months now. Taylor is an entrepreneur, speaker, and transformation coach. She is also the founder of The Millenial Business Podcast where she shares with millennials how to live, lead, create, and earn like the most successful men and women in the world. In this episode, we talk about business and life, and what it takes to create a successful business partnership. How does it feel like having a good business partner? We also discuss our opinion on having a University degree as an aspiring entrepreneur. I can tell you one thing though that with this partnership thing, we’ve gone through a lot of mistakes. But along the way,  we’ve learned and grown together. And we feel like we now know what it means to truly cultivate a relationship, how to sustain it, and how you should always aim to improve it.  Communication is obviously the most important element of any partnership. But, defining your roles clearly will also help you set clearer boundaries and avoid misunderstandings. In conclusion, a business partnership is a never-ending work in progress. But, at least for us, it’s completely worth it.
Passionate about doing her part to help protect and save the planet and spreading the plant-based lifestyle, Audrey Castonguay is the founder of Wholesome Culture - a multiple 7 figure e-commerce brand and movement to inspire everyone to become plant-based and cruelty-free. With her strong background in marketing and paid-ads, Audrey turned her passion and mission into a profitable and scalable e-commerce business. In this episode, Audrey shares how starting her own clothing brand was like jumping on an emotional rollercoaster. Today, anyone can start a business. But very few people realize what it takes to sustain growth. Are you just in it for the money or are you in it for the long haul? And is focusing on the mission more important than reaching the goals? How do you cope with mounting stress and long hours? Turning your interests into a successful business not only allows you to be profitable while doing something you love, but it also allows you to set up a lasting legacy. But above all Audrey wants to share her vision on happiness. Doing something you love will make you work harder at it, but that alone doesn’t mean you’ll feel fulfilled. Maybe it was never about the goals, to begin with.
In this episode, you’ll learn the 4 ways to warp your mind for success. Emile is an emotional intelligence & transformational breakthrough coach focusing on your relationship with the mind and the self. He is also a speaker, entrepreneur, and event facilitator. He began building his coaching business from having trouble regulating his own emotions and was inspired by his own mother, who’s a psychologist. He is passionate about helping people build businesses and lives that are aligned with their values. Providing value first is the main key to building connections with people who might be potential clients or business partners. But how do we build authentic connections and how can we train our minds for success? Emile talks about what made him leave LA and his modelling career, to start his own journey of self-development. How he restored his relationship with his father and now runs a program where he helps individuals, entrepreneurs, and corporates alike to face their fears and grow through transformation. Many of us are still only living at half potential. We’re being held back by beliefs that we don’t necessarily chose to adopt. Emile speaks about coming back to your true self, in your personal life as well as in business. Because, at the end of the day, your level of emotional intelligence will determine your level of success!
