Today I am resharing an amazing episode with trauma expert Dr. Janina Fisher where we discuss the concept of the living legacy of trauma. She explains how trauma affects individuals not just through past events but through ongoing emotional legacies that influence their current lives. The discussion covers the importance of trauma-informed stabilization treatment (TIST) and how it helps clients understand and manage their internal struggles by recognizing different parts of themselves.
