Ethiopian training

In addition to their genetics, geographical location, lifestyle, and other cultural factors, the thing that makes Ethiopians run so fast might very well be their training. Or at the very least, it doesn’t seem to hurt them very much. To submit your thoughts, questions, or overall feedback , email run12795@gmail.com or find me on Strava.

Thoughts on Grand Slam Track

My fun solution to “the problem of track and field” if there is one. Post-recording thoughts: Points should also be awarded to a runner for leading (per lap). Alternatively, we eliminate points altogether, and do something like tennis does, best of 5 sets (races). Might not be spectator friendly, but watching the same field go at it (and using different tactics) 5 days in a row on TV would be interesting. Kinda what happens at the Olympics where drama unfolds over an entire week. To submit your thoughts, questions, or overall feedback , email run12795@gmail.com or find me on Strava.
