Every Experience is Revealing Your True Innocence

Welcome to episode twenty-seven of The Wandering Monk Podcast. Today, I share a personal reflection on the profound importance of returning to our innocence—the divine purity that resides within us all. Through a quiet walk in nature and a moment of eye contact with a baby deer, I was reminded that our true state is guiltless and unshakeable, untouched by the illusions of the world. In this deep work of forgiving, releasing illusions, and resting in the innocence of our minds, we can face life's challenges with gentleness, trust, and love. Join me in remembering that our real nature is pure, safe, and eternally connected with God. Free Letting Go Meditation https://www.thewanderingmonk.org/free-letting-go-meditation/

Free Letting Go Meditation

Introduction This space was born from a deep personal journey—one that taught me how to face the feelings I spent years running from. Meditation became a powerful gateway to healing, clarity, and emotional freedom. I created this offering to share what helped me most. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, numb, or simply searching for peace, this practice is for you. You don’t need to change anything—just be willing to sit with what’s there. In time, something beautiful can begin to unfold. How the meditation began I never realized how deeply my feelings were affecting me until I sat with them. I was in intense emotional pain, overwhelmed by guilt, rejection, shame, and self-hatred, to name a few. The last thing I wanted was to face these feelings; I wanted to run, distract myself, do anything but look inward. But it was as if a door had opened, revealing parts of me I'd never truly acknowledged. And I sensed, deeply, that this was the path I had to take.I began slowly, sitting with feelings that were incredibly painful. It was uncomfortable and seemed endless. But then I discovered a meditation that changed everything. It guided me to simply sit with what was present, to allow the feeling, invite it, even welcome it, and really feel it. This practice helped me uncover the beliefs behind my emotions and begin to move through them. For instance, I’d notice a belief like “I’m not enough.” Then I’d ask myself: How do I feel about that? The answer might be shame. From there, I would start my meditation. Sometimes it lasted 45 minutes. Sometimes two or even three hours before the emotion was released. Other times, I’d feel nothing at all just numbness. But by sitting with that numbness, sadness slowly began to surface.Rewards of sitting with emotionsThe more I committed to the practice, the more I realized how much emotion was constantly present within me. I learned to simply observe and give each feeling my full attention. And in time, I saw that these weren’t just stories—they were unconscious emotional layers. As I moved through them, a sense of freedom began to unfold. I could finally see how these hidden feelings had been ruling me, and now, I was becoming free. It was a profound experience.Goal of this practiceThis is not about spirituality. It’s about clearing the unconscious mind so that deeper spiritual work can take place, clearing the way for the full presence of God.Because this practice helped me so deeply, I created my own version of the meditation. And now, I’m offering it freely to you. It’s available in both English and German.Prayer  May this practice open doors to breakthrough, insight, and deeper healing. May it help clear the way for God-realization.

Holy Companions: Walking in Peace

Welcome to episode thirteen of the Wandering Monk podcast. In this episode, I read from lesson 156 of A Course in Miracles: "I walk with God in Perfect Holiness." This inspiration came to me spontaneously this morning as I reflected on all the love that surrounds us. The angels, Jesus, God, and the Holy Spirit are all walking beside us, guiding our minds to a state of peace, a state of joy and a state of gentleness. We do not have to concern ourselves with worldly matters when we remember who walks with us. There is a light in you which cannot die; whose presence is so holy that the world is sanctified because of you. ²All things that live bring gifts to you, and offer them in gratitude and gladness at your feet. ³The scent of flowers is their gift to you. ⁴The waves bow down before you, and the trees extend their arms to shield you from the heat, and lay their leaves before you on the ground that you may walk in softness, while the wind sinks to a whisper round your holy head. (ACIM, W-156.4:1-4)Join me as we meditate with the calming presence of the Holy Spirit and allow its guidance to fullfill our hearts and minds with a gentle power of great peace.

Beyond Boundaries: Transcending Limitations

Welcome to episode twelve of the Wandering Monk podcast. In this episode, I discuss the theme of limitations. Many of us feel that this world can be restrictive, as though something is preventing us from growing, expressing ourselves, or connecting with others. When we try to step outside our comfort zones, we often face inner resistance or meet obstacles that challenge our desire to expand. We feel limited in or by relationships, careers, and society, often feeling held back by external forces. However, these perceptions are mere illusions. The first step to freedom is recognizing that this sense of restriction comes from our own belief in a thought system that’s based on guilt. In reality, limitations do not exist because nothing can hold back the boundless love of Christ.Join me as I share a personal story about my singing experience. Although I may not have the best singing voice, singing for God transforms that perception. It’s not about skills and abilities but rather about expressing love and joy. After all, our lives are deeply rooted in God's love, which truly knows no bounds.

Living in Integrity: The Key to Inner Peace

Welcome to episode eleven of the Wandering Monk podcast. In this episode, I explore the profound concept of integrity through the lens of honesty as taught in A Course in Miracles. I share my personal prayer for alignment between my thoughts, words, and actions. True honesty transcends mere speech; it embodies consistency where every thought, word, and action harmonizes without contradiction. When we achieve this level of integrity, we find ourselves at peace, free from inner conflict, which allows us to foster harmony and peace of mind. From Jesus"Only the trusting can afford honesty, for only they can see its value. Honesty does not apply only to what you say. The term actually means consistency. There is nothing you say that contradicts what you think or do; no thought opposes any other thought; no act belies your word; and no word lacks agreement with another. Such are the truly honest. At no level are they in conflict with themselves. Therefore it is impossible for them to be in conflict with anyone or anything."A Course in Miracles

Divine Intervention: Navigating Fear Through Inner Strength

Welcome to episode ten of The Wandering Monk Podcast! In this week’s episode, I recount a profound experience I had during a deep meditation with a group of friends. Although the meditation had concluded, I remained immersed in this elevated state. As I gradually emerged from this experience, I felt a wave of fear wash over me at the thought of interacting with others. I was grappling with a desire for solitude, wanting to prolong my communion with the divine. During this powerful meditation, Jesus imparted a vital message: we are not bound by our emotions; instead, we can consciously choose where to direct our focus. This experience opened my heart to embrace my connection with Jesus while maintaining a strong bond with the divine. Join me as we delve into the concept of inner strength and explore how nurturing our relationship with God empowers us to transcend our fears. May this episode inspire you to cultivate resilience and deepen your connection to the divine in all your interactions. Thank you for tuning in, and may this week bring you abundant strength and peace.
