I don't know about you but I'd rather not spend my whole summer doomscrolling. I didn’t exactly throw my phone into the ocean and go full digital detox… but I did rethink how (and why) I use it. In this episode, I dive into the weirdly intimate relationship so many of us have with our phones, but also how we can use them as just a tool instead of a full-on life support machine. If your screen time has been personally attacking you lately, this one’s for you.
Hey there, long time no see! Or…hear, I guess?Either way I’m so pumped to finally be posting this. In this episode I talk about simple ways to make your day to day life more enjoyable and ~romantic~ to avoid getting bored/burnt out and make everyday special. This is a shorter episode but I hope y’all enjoy!
For today’s episode I’m chatting with a very special guest- my roommate Carly! Even though we are both very much single we have a lot to offer in terms of red and green flags to look out for before beginning a relationship with someone. Disclaimer that these are just our opinions obviously, but take notes because we went off. Enjoy!!
Hey guys, I’m back and I just celebrated my birthday which was super fun. This episode is about random lessons I’ve learned from my life up until this point. I hope putting bread in the freezer changes your life the same way it’s changed mine.
I recently learned that the word “hygge” is not pronounced like I thought it was. I also learned that it has a really cool meaning about living a cozy, happy life, so shoutout to the Danish for coming up with that! In this episode I talk about this philosophy and give you guys a little challenge for making your life more hygge. Get cozy and enjoy! ig: upfromhere_pod & miranda2adler
Running is kind of a weird thing that humans do and seems to have a bad rep, but it can also be really fun and super rewarding both physically and mentally! In this episode I talk about all things running, including how I went from being a running-hater to being mildly addicted to it, the physical and mental benefits, and tips for making it suck less and improving! This episode is for anyone with the slightest bit of curiosity about running, even if you have a generally negative view of it (maybe I'll even manage to change your mind?). Enjoy!ig: upfromhere_pod & miranda2adler
Hope no one missed me too much (jk), but I’m back with lots to say! Today I wanted to talk about going through seasons of change, specifically learning to embrace it and using change to become a better version of yourself! I’m starting a new semester of college soon which is exciting but also a little scary, let me know you guys are going through and what you’re excited for in your own seasons of change!ig: upfromhere_pod and miranda2adler
I don’t really know how any of this happened, but it’s the fifth episode, my dad is here, and basically we geek out about finance for like 30 minutes. Hopefully you all get some entertainment out of this as well as tips for leveling up and becoming a financial baddie😎. Enjoy!

Hey guys! In this episode I talk about something I’m super passionate about…plant-based eating! I realize this is a big topic so I tried to keep it simple with some reasons for eating plant-based as well as some small tips for incorporating this into your life. We’re keeping it chill so I promise I’m not trying to guilt anyone into being vegan.insta: miranda2adler
Hey everyone!! Welcome to Up From Here! In the first episode I talk about finding new exercises that are actually enjoyable, normalizing rollerblading, and probably terrifying everyone by confessing some dark feelings I used to have against my gym teacher in elementary school… Enjoy! I've returned from one of my most chaotic trips so far, and have so many stories and life lessons for you all. I'm not a travel expert by any means, but if you've ever thought about solo travelling but have doubts about safety, budgeting, meeting people, etc., this episode may be able to alleviate some of your fears and provide a few guidelines to follow. It's a long one, which makes it perfect for your next roadtrip, flight, or adventure :). Special thanks to my friends from Germany for helping with this episode's content!IG: upfrom__pod & miranda2adler
I recorded this episode three times (yes, three) because either I hated what I said or the audio sounded like it was coming out of a tin can. But here we are. This week I’m talking about what it’s like to move on to the next chapter of life—packing up my college apartment, saying goodbye to routines and people, and realizing it was time to start fresh. Spoiler: it led to me spending two months traveling in Europe. Hope this is helpful for anyone navigating a season of transition or figuring out what’s next!IG: upfromhere__pod
Everyone has a body (I'm pretty sure) and sometimes that can be weird to deal with. I am so happy that I got to sit down and talk with a lovely friend of mine and certified girlboss Sammy Vaillancourt to talk about loving our bodies despite a million pressures affecting what we think of ourselves. We definitely hit some deep topics, but also end up on some pretty random ones including fashion, parents, and men in short-shorts. Make sure to check out Sammy's instagram and vintage fashion company! @sammy.livv && @vonvvintageThank you guys for listening and let me know what you think as always. Have a fantastic week (and Thanksgiving if you celebrate:)). ig: upfromhere_pod & miranda2adler email: mirandaadler57@gmail.com
