The Emergencies Act passed by parliament in 1988, should only be used by the government to deal with extraordinary emergencies such as if the country is under attack. So why did the Trudeau government invoke the Emergencies Act to violently shut down peaceful protestors and shut down bank accounts of people who supported the truckers? Why is Trudeau refusing to release the results of the inquiry into his use of the Act? Toronto Sun columnist Lorrie Goldstein says Trudeau's arguments for invoking the act are weak.The Trudeau government printed more than 400 billion dollars' worth of new money. Is this one of the contributors to the skyrocketing inflation we are seeing in Canada? Ryerson University is being sued by 15 students who were deregistered over their vaccine status. Litigation lawyer Ryan O Connor says this has a damaging impact on the students who cannot complete their academic year because of Ryerson's vaccine mandates. Sarabjit Sara purchased a property with two houses on it. He and his family live in one house and he rented out the smaller house. The tenants paid one month's rent but stopped paying rent after the first month. It's now more than two years and the tenants owe 25 thousand in back rent. Sarabjit Sara says the Landlord and Tenant Board is doing nothing to help him to get these tenants out of his property or to force them to pay the back rent. Are you planning a trip to Cuba? Baber called for an end to the lockdowns. Hewas ousted from the Progressive Conservative caucus by Doug Ford. Now the premier and medical officer of health admitting that lockdowns did not work in terms of stopping covid spread.Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, served as MP with the federal Liberal government for almost 20 years. He is now a vocal critic of the Liberal party under Justin Trudeau. McTeague says Trudeau is damaging Canada's economy, destroying our unity, stripping us of our charter rights and freedoms.
