So often we are causing our own pain. In this episode, I share strategies to free yourself from it. This applies to all of your relationships. So many of us live with an illusion of control and when things get stressful, we tighten that control as a way of feeling calmer, but it does the opposite. It's time to learn to surrender the outcome and be open to creative possibilities.
Sometimes big mile markers, like hitting perimenopause or menopause, can cause us to downward spiral into thinking we haven't accomplished enough. This episode is around shifting your perspective around purpose from something you find to something you live. This short and sweet episode is a mindset reframe.
In this episode, I talk about the power of naming truths. I go through various contexts and what this looks like in each. This is the opposite of allowing an elephant in the room and helps us move towards more honest and authentic communication, improving all of our relationships. It also helps us to give ourselves grace, particularly if you are going through a transition such as perimenopause or menopause.
The more in-tune we are with our bodies, the sooner we notice when things have shifted. As someone who spent much of their life disassociated, I'm proud of the work I've done to get back in my body. The more that I focused on healthy habits and caring for my body, the more in-tune I became. I believe that it is precisely because I had such healthy habits engrained, that I was able to recognize the signs of perimenopause early and seek support. Today, I share about those habits and what helped me stick with them.
In this episode, I talk about how with the stress of starting school and dealing with illness in the household, it has felt like all those perimenopause symptoms are just worsening. I know I'm not alone in feeling a bit overwhelmed, so I want to open a space and share my story. It's during these times that we need to protect our energy. I share many strategies that you can implement immediately.
