Do you ever take the knowledge you have now and look back at your childhood?
This is something I do frequently--and it reminds me of just how far I've come. It also reminds me of just how unprepared I was for so much in life--which is a useful perspective if you tend to be too hard on yourself--like me.
Today I'm getting personal about three things in particular that I WISH I'd been taught a whole lot earlier.
However, this isn't about blame and shame! It's about shining a light on how important emotional education is and a great reminder that it's never too late to begin this work.
