Better World Rescue is a 100% volunteer non-profit rescue serving shelter and at-risk animals in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties in California. Their mission is to help keep pets in loving homes to prevent owner-surrender to shelters.
Better World Rescue helps the community with low-cost spay and neuter. They provide free and low-cost training resources to help prevent owner-surrenders. They also save dogs and cats from euthanasia from local shelters, especially the ones that are sick to help get them placed into loving homes.
Mercedes Martinez joins us today. She is Better World Rescue's Social Media Coordinator. She will tell us all about Better World Rescue and what people in her community can do to help make changes to help pets in their community.
