Description
John Cox is a retired sheriff's deputy from Sarasota County in Florida. John founded Ruck9, which stands for Rescuing Uniquely Created K-9's in 2021. His nonprofit is dedicated to raising funds to provide special needs animals with wheelchairs and mobility equipment. To date John has helped 155 animals of all types - cats, dogs, goats, a duck and even a goose -- not just locally but from all over the world. There is absolutely no cost to the owner. John has been featured in People Magazine for his unique work. He does accept donations and all proceeds go directly to helping enhance each pet's life.
