Th Smashing Machine - With Dwyane Johnson, Emily Blunt, A Combat sport, and A24- The Smashing Machine seemed like a sure thing, yet is a movie that just doesn't have a payoff and never finds the ingredient that adds excitement or a thrilling element.  It just doesn't find the pizzazz it needed, unfortunately.
