You need to read the book "Genesis and the big bang" by Gerald L. Schroeder
There is so much to digest here! Great podcast. I have never seen Sabbath and The beginning of Genesis "Creation" from this perspective very interesting. I have been delighted with the explanation of Sabbath. Also, thanks for the reference to read more about it.
Regarding Genesis 1 in the beginning God said, let there be light... Could it be he was referring to life and Jesus? Could Because he is the light of life? Could Jesus have been created in the beginning? Could Jesus be the Light God spoke into existence? I know the sun was mentioned on day three so I don't think the light was that but there was light. In John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. 3Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made. 4In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. Perhaps also the division of light and darkness, refers to darkness as the division between Good and evil... 5The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
