Host Derek Simon welcomes you to the first episode of the Simon Says Sports Show where he breaks down the week’s betting action for the NFL playoffs.  Simon begins by talking about last week’s games that saw the Bills, Jaguars, and Bengals joining the Chiefs in the AFC divisional round while in the NFC it was the Cowboys, Giants, and 49ers joining the Eagles in round 2 of the tournament.  Before making his picks for this weekend’s games, Simon explained a little of the method to his madness.  He explained that statistics were a part of everyday life, but needed context in order to be applied properly.  Numbers are important because they provide an objective view of the world, and they also give you a basis for making risk-reward decisions.  Simon concludes by saying that while he believes in his methodology, nothing is 100% in the sports betting world because as Mark Twain once said: Sometimes figures lie and liars figure.
