There are 6+1 categories of Chinese tea. According to the processing methods and the degree of oxidation (fermentation) of tea polyphenols, Chinese tea can be divided into green tea (unfermented tea), white tea (slightly fermented tea), yellow tea (lightly fermented tea), oolong tea (semi-fermented tea), black tea (full fermented tea) and dark tea (post-fermented tea); these six major tea categories. What about the +1 category? That is the widely known and consumed scented tea that belongs to the reprocessed tea category.
