Update: 2022-04-21
Description
The modern world is set up to cause stress. We're always switched on, plugged in and expected to be available to work, how could we not end up chronically stressed?!
In this episode I talk about a few really important concepts around stress- particularly chronic stress.
What is stress and how does our body respond to it?
What's the difference between acute and chronic stress?
What is the Stress Cycle and why is it important to know about?
How can we learn how to change our relationship with stress and better manage it?
As I mentioned in the episode, my 7 Days of Mindful Self Care mini course is absolutely FREE and a great way to help kick start you towards slowing down and learning how to rest.
If you're enjoying the podcast I would absolutely love for you to review and share it with others to help spread the word about the importance of mindfulness and self care in all of our lives. Please don't get to the point I did and burn out before you do something about it- make these important changes today.
