Built with the pilfered bricks of nearby Kirkham Priory, this stately Jacobean manor house has been living under a dark curse for over 400 years. It is said that the sons of all its owners will be doomed to premature deaths and their families destined to a lifetime of happiness. So, maybe not the perfect family home…
