A Duchess's home, a millionaire's country retreat, a wartime safe-haven for Norwegian Royalty and a Youth Hostel. Given its colourful history, it’s not surprising there are rumours of ghosts... On the market since early 2022, Carbisdale is in need of an owner who can undertake the management of a 64-room castle along with its spectral residents.
