104: Is money causing you stress? Resolving financial fear with Kelly Hearn
Description
The topic of today’s show is one that a lot of us feel conflicted about. Today we will be speaking about the psychology of money. The subject of money and how it makes us feel is one we so often avoid but I want to change that this year. My guest to help us do so is the wonderful Kelly Hearn.
She is a world leading psychotherapist and co-founder of Examined Life who takes an integrative approach to her work. For two decades she worked in investment management after completing an MBA from Columbia Business School and then switched gears into the world of therapy. On a mission to empower people with many different tools from a variation of disciplines. She has a brilliant online workshop called Mental Wealth, the psychology of money and pursuit of financial wellness and I can’t wait to dive into that. In this episode, we explore what makes our relationship with money so challenging and how we might make this relationship more harmonious.
Kelly's next mental wealth workshop is taking place on March 23 at 7pm in London. She will explore the links between money, values and self-worth and cultural confusion about money. Kelly will also provide practical steps to financial wellness - that's definitely what we all need! For more information or to sign up for the workshop, please contact kelly@examinedlife.co.uk.
