It’s easy to feel far from God, to maybe feel like He’s disappointed, frustrated, or pulling away because we’ve messed up again. That spiritual anxiety makes us think our relationship with Him is a contract: “If I keep my end, He’ll keep His.” But Hebrews and Jeremiah remind us that God’s covenant isn’t built on our perfection; it’s built on His promise. In this episode, I talk about what it means to live like forgiveness is already ours, why we don’t have to earn God’s love, and how we can confidently draw near to Him.
