Takeaway: We should move the asteroids with our mind.
MY GOD 🙌🙏 this has just rocked my world and reminded me of my own psychedelic experiences and derailed me from my sleepy path of half life that I have sunken into for nearly a decade. so many synapses linking up I'm LIT right now thank the weird gods for Joe and Graham 👌
I only listened to this 1 accidentally, so glad I did it was one of best ones yet,I definitely want more interaction and info from this dude <3
Joe should check out the lacerta files, so much is aligned with this, as ridiculous as the premise is.
Interesting until they started talking about telekinetic powers. Stopped listening, can take someone like that seriously.
They're talking about an episode where graham smokes for the first time in a long while - anyone who knows which episode?
I am dumbfounded that I can listen to this and then the next show will be totally dedicated to MMA fighting. Such a bizarre show but so brilliant at times.

Comments sections are a perfect example of the issues they were discussing with people being so insistent that their ideas are the only correct ones. That point is being proven in real time.
I used to read Hancock's books decades ago. They're great reads and real page-turners. Then I picked up that pattern. He will build a foundation of fact and science 199 feet high, then cap that pyramid with a huge leap that is so smoothly placed there that you don't notice that it doesn't really logically follow the build-up, almost "Holy Blood, Holy Grail" level. That said don't think he's necessarily a charlatan. I think he had a few a few bona fide theories very early on and he veered off to pursue that tangent and THEN look for ways he could tailor the science to fit some fairly out-there claims. Use your critical-thinking skills, people. Don't just take it as a given that there is always a seamless, logical transition between the science and conclusions when it comes to Hancock.
you can show cuckcock the evidence and he will say no, yet with no evidence of his own his reply will be we just dont know yet. But we do cuckcock, you just wont accept the facts in front of your face.
I read "Fingerprints of the Gods" in 1995 and it blew my mind. One of my favourite books of all time. I worked in Egypt about 10 years later and an Egyptian friend of mine took me to Giza and we went on a locals only tour of the pyramids. Graham Hancock gave me an insight that you won't get on the official tours. Great book, great man.
absolutely amazing podcast
Anyone else playing this at 0.9 speed just to make it normal again 😅
