13. From China to New Zealand, England, and Portugal with Camellia Yang

In today’s episode, I talked with Camellia Yang. She was born and raised in Jinan, Shandong province, China.
During our conversation, she told me how she started learning English during her special childhood and the way the Chinese school system helped her to learn different topics. Then she explained why she moved to New Zealand and got to live there for almost 10 years. Later, she recalled how she ended up in London just months before the pandemic exploded and why she wrote a book in English during the lockdown.
Aside from that, She also told me about her online projects: a newsletter, an interview podcast, and a digital media agency. As a side note, we talked about football and specifically about the Barcelona football philosophy. At the end of the episode, we taught each other a phrase in Chinese and Spanish.
