3. Studying a Ph.D. in New York and learning English with Miguel from Perú

In today´s episode, our guest is Miguel. He is a Peruvian who grew up in his country with basic English learned mainly in high school.
After some years working as a professor in Peruvian universities, he had the opportunity to begin a new life in New York. There, for the first time, he started learning English seriously.
In 2020, he obtained a scholarship to study for a Ph.D. in history at a university in New York. Currently, he is conducting his research, working as an assistant professor, and using his English in an academic context.
In the last minutes of the conversation, we talked a little bit in Spanish.
