In this episode, I aim to inform and inspire ALL women to consider incorporating consistent strength training (specifically) as part of their routines. I'll cover:
- What is strength training
- The specific benefits to you, including how it increases your metabolism, can be a great weight loss strategy & even prevents/manages diabetes
- Bust industry myths and misconceptions such as needing to be in the gym for hours for it to work (not true), or how weight-lifting will make you 'bulky' (also not true)
- And unpack some of the socio-political, and cultural, context that has historically not promoted strength-training for women
