Cindy Herren is a K-12 Technology and Innovation Leader at Waukee Schools in Waukee, Iowa. She’s taught for 18 years in a variety of settings, and enjoys collaborating and sharing best practices of integrating technology in the classroom. She is an Apple Distinguished Educator, 2015 PBS Lead Digital Innovator, Code.org Affiliate, Seesaw Ambassador & Google Certified Educator. She serves on the governor’s Computer Science task force for the state of Iowa, as well as the state K-12 Computer Science standards work group. All of these experiences have helped connect her to amazing educators from around the globe.
