I saw a little boy crying in front of the toy aisle in the
supermarket. He wanted his mom to buy him a toy. I've seen this kind of
situation before.

我以为接下来会发生这样的画面。

"呜呜~我要! 我要! 我就要这个玩具! 给我买!”

“要什么要! 打死你!”

I thought what would happen next would be like this:

"Wah ~ I want it! I want it! I just want this toy! Buy it for
me!"

"Stop asking for it! I'll smack you!"

我脑子里的画面是这个样子的。可惜啊, 我没看到。

This is the scene I pictured in my mind. Unfortunately, I didn't see
that.

这个妈妈呢他没有打他的孩子, 也没有骂他的孩子。相反她是这样做的。

This mom neither hit nor scolded her child. Instead, she did
something different.
