Description

Welcome to the first episode of the Soul Pod highlights featuring "triple stack fever" where everything happens in threes!

For stack 1 we go "singing the blues" a segment inspired by our recent guest interview (edition 1) with Mr Freddy Cole! Also in the blues mix is vocalese prowess from Eddie Jefferson and daughter of the great johnny Copeland , Shemekia singing "In her own tears"

If you missed the fully published edition 1 where 1975 was the year of celebration. Fear not play the bonus round with three jazz gems from the year courtesy of Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea and The Crusaders.

A twist to big band arrangements intertwined with soul and rnb grooves produces our 3rd TS(triple stack) of Orchestras in soul! Enter the Salsoul orchestra, John Davis & his monster orchestra and a touch of satin soul from the stable of the Love Unlimited orchestra spearheaded by the music maestro Mr Barry White.

The highlights are the shape of things things to come for the 2015 soul pod series.

You can catch all the in between stuff on the full length edition of The Steve Edwards Soul Show streaming live around the world every
