In this extra long episode, my friend Shannon Calder (LMFT, PhD and host of Terror Talk) and I go deep on the concept of Twin Flames and talk a little bit about the documentaries on Amazon and Netflix. I am so lucky to have Shannon to explain some of the complex terminology like "mirroring" and "limerence" which will give the listener a way better understanding of what to be aware of - so you don't get sucked into an online cult!
We also discuss other types of spiritual relationships, like kindred spirits and soul family, while exploring the different possible meanings and spiritual purposes of the many connections we encounter in life.
Friends, I dove deep to really try to go to the root of the concept of Twin Flames which took me from Ancient Greece to the Henry Fonda Theatre's 1999 production of "Hedwig and the Angry Inch."
