am I the only one who thinks it's inappropriate that she's telling the world her daughter got sexually assaulted as a child, with her identity exposed. like maybe the child wants to make that decision as an adult, not have to grow up with everyone knowing what happened to her. seems like a huge breach of confidentiality and trust on the mothers part.

This woman was traumatized and had extensive brain injuries. People judging this VICTIM are disgusting

Pretty messed up all these comments are attacking the mother. How about you attack the attacker who traumatized a whole family ? Crazy. Who cares what YOU would do. And btw you don’t know till you’re in the situation. So don’t throw stones. If you didn’t go through it then shut up.

I understand everyone processes traumatic experiences differently, and she didn't explain the full extent of the injuries she sustained until close to the end (which were extensive) but her retelling of this story is so nonchalant, especially about her daughter, it made me sick, and angry. I've never been in a situation like this, thank God, but I'd like to think my kids would be my #1 priority regardless

How she still believes in the Christian God it’s unreal today tell me that their sky daddy just stood by and watched a little girl get sexually molested. What a piece of shit that Christian guy is I’m glad I don’t worship him

I can't even listen to the rest of this story. its a horrendous story. You would have had to kill me. There's no way I would have taken a nap and not looked for my child, locked doors, called the police. This story belongs on Sword and Scale, not here. it should have a severe trigger warning.
