I'm so excited to bring the podcast back to you and have this level of connection with you to share in depth all things confidence and mindset as well as incorporating solo travel and how I've achieved my dream life.
This episode I'm chatting in depth about how to use the 12 Week Year method to set and fast track your goals
So lets breakdown the process into super simple steps:
1 - before you set any goals you need to know your values and your why, this creates a foundation and will ensure your goals are in alignment
2 - Be specific - I could’ve set “being a runner” or “running more” as a goal but I personally like to know when I’ve achieved something for sure
3 - Measurable to help track progress - most goals can have a number attached or an easily identifiable outcome e.g. get a new job, move cities, travel have identifiable outcomes
4 - your time frame is 12 weeks
5 - create your action plan with that time frame in mind, what steps need to be taken and when - I planned to run 3 times a week and also use the couch to 5km app so there was less effort on the planning side, I just tap the app and it tells me when to run when to walk
6 - track your progress - I love habit tracking, I have a simple check sheet where I put the habits/ actions I’m working on and tick them off - grab a copy on our website
7 - evaluate your progress and actions every so often to see if there could be improvement
