Today’s guest is Dr. Natalie Bonthius.


An emergency medicine doctor and the Founder of Survival Med.


Dr. Bonthius combines her background in neuroscience with austere medicine, which the practice of medicine in resource-limited environments, such as the wilderness.


As you’ll hear in this episode, Dr. Bonthius researches and teaches about what happens to the mind and human behavior in extreme environments and survival conditions. She’s worked with the National Park Service, National Association for Search and Rescue, independent expedition organizations, the military, and more.
