Description

This bonus excerpt is one I pulled from Eli's full episode that dropped earlier this week. (If you haven't had a chance to listen, I highly recommend it. It's one of the most value-packed conversations I've had on 3 in 30!)

Because it was so value-packed, we had to trim it to 30 minutes, and I didn't want you to miss out on this fascinating part of the conversation, so I decided to make it a bonus episode.

These thoughts from Eli on co-regulation for parents blew my mind!

I mean, I had heard of co-regulation before, but the scientific evidence behind it is fascinating! I had no idea there were nerve fibers that are activated when I caress my child, and these nerve fibers calm my child's heart down! It takes the old adage "If Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" to a whole new level. 🤯

Eli's explanation of the science behind co-regulation helps me understand why it is so vital that moms proactively do soul-care. It literally helps us build a buffer so that we don't dysregulate when our kids are dysregulated. It's so powerful!

(By the way, I just did a mini episode on soul-care! Click below to check it out!)

Taking care of ourselves helps us avoid losing our tempers and doing and saying things we regret.
