About Patrick Semple

Born in the Pacific Northwest, Patrick Semple lives and works in Denver, Colorado and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Painting non-stop since childhood, Semple takes influence from his nomadic lifestyle drawing from favorite sights, smells, tastes, and friendships made in his travels. Finding ceaseless inspiration from different surroundings and people, his artwork aims to articulate these experiences with puddles of rich color, texture, and found objects from each encounter that bear personal significance and challenge the boundaries between different mediums, relating his sense of joy, mystery and curiosity onto the viewer.
