WANKIEST WINE REVIEW OF THE WEEK

The Queen briefly joins us, before being overtaken by a Welshman, to read a truly wanky wine review that features a bottle of 1987 Bordeaux that costs £129.95 and veal hearts. Wankery at its finest.

WINESUP

I feel bad even linking to this. I feel bad even thinking about it! But here it is: terrible "wine company" Apothic, is launching a cold brew coffee red wine (called Apothic Brew) which is supposed to be served cold and sounds like maybe one of the most confusing and disgusting taste experiences you could put your mouth through. Put that shit in the spittoon! 

THE DRINKING

We swiffed and sipped a Chardonnay De Wetshof Estate Bon Vallon Sur Lie 2017 from South Africa that we ordered off The Mount Edgcumbe Wine List. (It reminded us a little bit of this Japanese wine we reviewed!)

CLARIFICATION

Selma Blair starred in the US series of Kath and Kim alongside the illustrious Molly Shannon of Superstar fame. Though none of us ever watched it, we can only assume it wasn't nearly as funny as the original, mostly because they couldn't make jokes like this one.
