Ann Tashi Slater is an international author, university professor on the patient experience in based in Tokyo at Japan Women's University. Ann focuses her work on patient experience and importantly importance of health identity, family legacy, dialogue across generations and borders. She will discuss her own personal patient experience and how that impacts today's crisis and the responsibility of future of health to consider the patient experience decision making.   She has made vital contributions to The New Yorker, The Paris Review, The New York Times, Guernica, Granta, Tricycle, and the HuffPost, and many more.
