Dr. Sydelle Ross is an anesthesiologist and pain specialist who practices hospice and palliative medicine.  She holds board certifications in all three disciplines and currently practices in the NJ Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. As an award-winning, classically trained vocalist, Dr Ross incorporates music into her medical practice as a way of providing comfort to patients who are battling life-threatening illnesses, as well as patients who are at the end of life.  She is the creator and host of a podcast series entitled Prescriptions In Song.  Dr. Ross highlights evidence in the medical literature that lends support to the therapeutic effect of music and she features guests who have dedicated their lives to promoting its healing power.
