60: How do you negotiate better success when changing diet and exercise to lose weight?

Kristen Carter has been in the health and fitness space for over 30 years. She is an Exercise Physiologist, is a certified Personal Trainer, a certified HealthCoach, and Certified with Precision Nutrition. Her passion is helping people reach their health goals through coaching, articles, and media.
She also writes blogs for Psychology Today, and is frequently designated an "Essential Read." She is the author of two books, The End of Try Try Again and the accompanying Action Workbook. They are designed to walk readers through specific and essential steps to reach each person's goals. It is not a one size fits all approach.
Having worked with many clients over the years, I know that it can be a real challenge and struggle to reach weight and exercise goals. I like to use my expertise to help others through that process in a way that is sustainable.
I like to explain why these two areas (weight and exercise) can be so difficult to navigate, so that the individual can stop feeling guilty if they have failed before. I go from there to help them navigate a different way to approach the new behaviors that they desire.
