Cork Bhha Defence Forces:  Sunday 15th October 

We are back again this year with the Defence Forces BHAA 5K Road race in a new location of Tramore Valley Park on the Sunday the 15th of October @10am. Registration from 9 am.  

Entry is €5 registered and €10 no registered 

BERE ISLAND 5 mile Sunday 15th October. 

Bere Island 5 Mile road race takes place every October as part of the Beara AC 5 Mile series. The event takes you from the east side of Bere Island, up the high road, where there are stunning views of Bantry Bay and Sheep’s head. You then drop down again when you reach the townland of Ballinakilla and head to the low road, where you have fantastic views of Berehaven Harbour. You then head to the townland of Ardagh which takes you back to Rerrin village again to the finish line.

Bere Island is an offshore Island and is accessible by Ferry. There are 2 ferry companies travelling to Bere Island and details of the ferries can be found at this link https://www.bereisland.net/ferries/

The Great Glenville Run - Sunday, November 26, 2023

The Great Glenville Run makes a welcome return in 2023. Lovely 4 mile run that starts and finishes in the quiet country village. With a short incline in the first mile, the remaining 3 miles are flat & fast, overall a very fair course. The Post Race Spread is also not to be missed!
