Description

Walter Brueggemann, one of the world's most prolific Old Testament scholars, returns to my podcast to share his wisdom from 87 years of a good life lived with joy. A prophetic voice in the wilderness of our so-called enlightenment, his humour and laughter reminds me of the joy that is always present in the depths of our hearts.

We all need elders in our lives to help us reflect on the many graces we have been given in our lives.

An economy of well-being is one in which we listen carefully to our elders before they pass on from this earthly existence.

Walter is still writing, his most recent writings can be found on the Church A New.org blog

Enjoy Walter's voice, crying with joy from the wilderness!
