Description

Today, June 21, 2021, is National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada, In celebration of this important day, I'm joined by Jodi Calahoo-Stonehouse, a Cree and Mohawk woman, who is running to be the first female indigenous leader of the Assembly of First Nations.

Jodi shares her vision and hopes for Canada, for both indigenous and non-indigenous peoples.

As part of her campaign, I've helped Jodi launch a national Indigenous Well-being Survey that anyone can take to express their views on the future of indigenous peoples in Canada and get a sense of indigenous people's well=being. Here is the link to the survey.
