7 - Aurélie Wilfart - INRAe - Using LCA and EA in environmental analysis
Description
Aurelie Wilfart is a researcher at the French public research center INRAe. She is in charge of the environmental analysis of animal production systems. Aurelie’s research activities focus on improving environmental assessment methods, such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Emergy Accounting (EA) in order to adapt them to the specificities of agricultural systems.
She apply these environmental analysis methods to assess the environmental impacts of agricultural systems related to animal husbandry and aquaculture systems. A part of her research activities relies on designing and developing environmental analysis tools based on LCA and EA.
Aurelie is also the main Editor of the French LCA database for animal feedstuff (Ecoalim Database) and the co-animator of the “tools for analysis of territorial flows” axis of the mixed technological network MAELE.
