Good open interview just annoying referring to himself in the 3rd person
what a thoroughly lovely man!
Not sure if I had much of a preconception of Troy prior to listening but whatever may've been subtlety lurking was wholly dismissed via one of the most candid [as you said, Louis] and insightful and honest interviews given by any footballer. 👌🏼 And I particularly enjoyed his subtle interviewing of you too. 🙂
As a Watford fan, I've always rated him as a player, a captain and a club man. I don't believe that players should routinely be regarded as role models but Troy Deeney really is one.
The world needs more like Troy Deeney, top bloke.
I loved this episode. Troy was so different from my perception of him. I was fascinated by his story.
