Then you see 9/11 happen, it’s possible to take that opportunity to disappear. People have done it without 9/11. People have successfully been able to start their lives under a new name, new place and not always thoroughly planned . She could have disappeared voluntarily. It’s easier to disappoint your family if they believe you’re dead .
