Rick Sanchez discusses the importance of controlling your flash anger and shares his secrets for maintaining your composure in 2023.  It’s normal to lose your temper every once in a while, but it’s crucial to maintain your composure before saying or doing things that you might regret later.  It’s a process of de-escalating the situation before it gets out of hand when you are having a disagreement with your spouse, family member, or friend.  Think before you speak and take ten minutes and do something else for a while.  After you’ve cooled off, express your concerns in a calm manner.  Choose your personal pronouns and express how you feel instead of telling them what they did wrong.  Don’t hold a grudge after the discussion is over and if you find yourself still upset afterward, seek help.  It’s ok to find someone else to talk to about how you feel so you can get past it.  Breathing exercises, meditation, and exercise are all proven techniques that can help you maintain your composure in the new year.
