Rick Sanchez welcomes show producer Scotty Mednick to discuss the recent tragic event that occurred on live television last Monday night when Buffalo Bills football player Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest during a game. Sanchez dissects the ESPN coverage of the event and questions why it took them so long to report the facts. He points to the multi-million-dollar deal that they recently signed with the NFL and the fact that they were protecting the interests of the NFL, first and worried about reporting the facts second. When companies protect their interests, they leave a void and opportunity for misinformation and speculation which is more dangerous than anything else.
