In this episode I’m speaking with Yuliia Buhlak, the Founder & CEO of Fiskin. Yuliia Buhlak is a passionate Ukrainian designer of fish leather accessories. She established Fiskin as a brand in Ukraine in 2021, shortly before the war interrupted her plans. Later on in April 2022 Yuliia had to flee with her 3 y.o. daughter Sonia to Norway, where she decided to start again her business from scratch. Brick by brick, after multiple sleepless nights she managed to launch again Fiskin production. Today she is producing luxury accessories made from genuine fish leather.
In this episode we will figure out how Yuliia, despite the sleepless nights and long hours trained herself to make beautiful wallets, purses, watch straps and so much more with sustainable fish skin.
