This story is about a boy who cannot go home for Christmas and a boy who cannot wait to go home for Christmas. Bertie is counting the days until he can go home for Christmas and celebrate with his family. His friend Tom tells him he will stay at school during the Christmas break as his family lives too far away. Bertie says he will ask his mom if Tom can come and stay with him for Christmas and celebrate with his family. The boys are very excited while they wait to hear from Bertie's mom.
